Our TeamAndrea Olmos TejadoMeetings ManagerAndrea Olmos Tejado serves as a Meetings Manager at SAM, where she collaborates with partner organizations to plan and execute events that are both meaningful and memorable. With a passion for storytelling and a background in theatre, Andrea brings creativity, attention to detail, and logistical expertise to each event she manages. Andrea began her events career as a teen, organizing gatherings for friends, and went on to build experience in wedding planning, restaurant event coordination, and hotel event management. Prior to joining SAM in 2025, she spent two years managing hotel events and also worked as a freelance planner, creating immersive experiences for a range of clients. Originally from Mexico City and now based in Austin, Andrea is drawn to association work for its connection to people and purpose. Outside of work, she enjoys group fitness classes, exploring Austin's social scene, and traveling in search of creative inspiration.
